Let The PEI Rocket Add To Your Team’s Excitement

The PEI Rocket are pleased to offer minor hockey players an opportunity they won’t soon forget.  Every home game, your players can skate on the same ice as their favorite Rocket in one of the following ways described below.  So coaches and parents, read up and register here on our website today.

Warm Up with the Rocket & Ultramar

Warm up with the Rocket, sponsored by Ultramar, is a chance for kids aged 6 – 10 to skate with the Rocket during Warm up.  Three lucky kids will be selected for each Rocket home game.

Revolution Media 7th Player of the Game

One child, aged 6 – 10, gets to dress in their hockey gear and skate out on to the ice with the rest of the team when introduced by our announcer. The 7th Player is also invited to stand on the blue line with the starting lineup for the singing of the national anthem.

Vogue Optical Shooting for the Stars

Vogue Optical and the PEI Rocket have teamed up to offer an experience to minor hockey players that kids dream of.  Vogue Optical’s “Shooting for the Stars” has two Atom A  or two Novice teams squaring off against each other in a breakaway competition between the first and second periods of select PEI Rocket home games (non-school nights).

Atlantic CAT Snow Crew

Are you interested in being a member of the Cat Snow Crew for a PEI Rocket Game? Twice per period (near the 14 and 6 minute marks) of every Rocket home game, we need some young volunteers to clean the snow away from high traffic areas on the ice surface.  Four good skaters are required each night. Each player is given a specific area of responsibility (Rocket net, Rocket bench, Visitors net, Visitors bench).  All interested players must be Peewee Age.

Future Stars

This is a unique program where we invite very young fans onto the ice after the game to get their photo taken and receive a special t-shirt autographed by one of the Rocket Stars of the game.
